The National Autistic Society are the leading UK
charity for people with autism (including Asperger syndrome) and their
families. They provide information, support and pioneering services, and
campaign for a better world for people with autism.
Butterflies provides on-going support for parents
of children and teenagers who are affected by the Autistic Spectrum or any
developmental delay, whether diagnosed or not.
Registered pre-school catering primarily but not
exclusively for children aged 0 - 6 with special educational and care
needs.
The Princess Royal Trust for carers
The Carers' Centre Bath & North East Somerset provides a range of help and support for people who are carers of of those who are frail, have a physical or mental illness, disability or problem with drugs or alcohol.

This national organisation provides information and
support for people with Down's syndrome, their families and carers, and

Mencap is a National charity campaigning for and supporting those with a learning disability to live their lives the way they want. Its website has many resources for the learning disabled, their families and carers.
Bristol Musicspace provides music based therapy for
children and adults in Bath and Bristol
This is a national information, advice and support
service for carers in England. A free, confidential helpline seven days a
week on 0808 802 0202, it provides accurate, relevant information for
carers and those who support them.
The PMLD Network is a group of people committed to
improving the lives of people with profound and multiple learning
disabilities (PMLD).

learning disabilities rather than carers, families or proffessionals.
Shaw Trust provides advice & support for those who
use a personal budget to purchase suport services within within BANES.
Special Friends Club is a charity operating
throughout the City of Bristol and South Gloucestershire and run by parent
volunteers. The charity provides support for families of children with
special needs by organising a wide range of activities and social
opportunities that can be shared and enjoyed by the whole family.
